We take great pride in our relaxed atmosphere, providing wifi, current magazines and a radio to distract more anxious patients. Our team of caring and efficient dentists, nurses and reception staff are here to give their advice and assistance. We aim to treat everyone as individuals – not just patients – and always have time to listen to your questions and comments. Our range of leaflets cover the areas we think will be of most use to you, but if you need any additional information please ask at reception and we will be only too happy to assist.
Preventative dentistry is all about keeping your own teeth. At East Mews we are dedicated to preventative measures and will help you to establish and maintain healthy teeth and gums. We have a hygienist who is available to ensure continued oral health. We also routinely check the soft tissues for any abnormalities.
It is most important that children visit the dentist from an early age to help them acclimatise to the dental surgery and surroundings. We firmly believe that educating children and their parents in diet, oral hygiene and prevention will give them the best possible start to their dental lives. This philosophy has been proved correct as, over the last 25 years, the vast majority of our young patients reach adulthood without any fillings. All children are assessed for the correction of irregular teeth as they develop (Orthodontics).
The three surgeries are located on the first floor. The stairs may be an issue for the physically impaired.
We welcome all feedback and opinions you may have about your experience at East Mews; please feel free to speak to our Practice Manager Michelle Skeet, as we value your opinion. Should you need it, our complaints procedure is available from reception
Quote: “In the opinion of the dental reference officer, this practice is offering a high standard of dental care to patients and should be congratulated on this.”
